Can I also use a double weighted blanket alone?

Yes, that is no problem. A double weighted blanket works in this respect the same as a single weighted blanket. You choose a weighted blanket of about 10% of your body weight (a little more is allowed). In the case of a double weighted blanket, this normally applies to 2 people. So 2x a body weight of 75kg is 150kg, 10% of that is 15kg. Because it concerns the pressure per surface area, you as one person of e.g. 75kg can still use the same 15kg blanket.

What are the advantages of a single blanket compared to a double weighted blanket?

A single weighted blanket can be more precisely matched to your weight and therefore often feels more personal and effective. We also have more variants for the single blankets. Deken fantastisch voor iemand met autisme

De verzwaringsdeken is fantastisch. Ik heb autisme en val moeilijk in slaap door piekeren en slaap vaak licht. Deze deken is als een veilig gevoel over je heen trekken. Ik moest 3 nachten wennen aan het gewicht (door de continue lichte druk op mijn spieren tintelde het eerst een beetje) maar nu wil ik niet meer zonder slapen. Ik slaap dieper en ik val sneller in slaap. Zelf gebruik ik de deken als een soort sprei op mijn normale dekbed. De verzwaringsdeken zorgt niet voor oververhitting waar ik bang voor was, het is echt geluidloos en het gewicht is goed verdeeld. Stof is 100% katoen en dus ook geen irritatie op de huid of iets dergelijks. Ik heb gekozen voor 8kg, er wordt 10% van je lichaamsgewicht aanbevolen (ik weeg 67 kilo), maar voor mij is 8 kg perfect (12% van mijn lichaamsgewicht) omdat ik liever iets aan de zwaardere kant wil. De deken is een absolute aanrader!

Superfijne verzwaringsdeken

Superfijne verzwaringsdeken. Top dat er ook tweepersoons-dekens bestaan én aparte hoezen met vrolijke kleurtjes. Heel blij met onze mooie tweepersoons-deken! We slapen er allebei veel rustiger door en ik merk zelf dat ik vooral minder woel in mijn slaap.

Ik had heel vaak last van rusteloze benen (RLS).
Sinds ik met een verzwaringsdeken slaap (ondertussen 2 weken) heb ik geen rusteloze benen meer! Soms voel ik mijn benen bij het slapengaan wat rusteloos worden, maar dat gevoel gaat nu heel snel voorbij.

Mijn zoontje van 10 jaar slaapt nu sinds 2 weken onder de deken en wat hebben we een spijt dat we de deken niet eerder gekocht hebben. Voor het eerst sinds 8 jaar slaapt hij al 2 weken s nachts door en moet ik hem 's ochtends wakker maken!! Zelfs de juf op school merkte al verschil, zijn werkhouding is verbeterd. Hij geeft ook zelf aan een stuk uitgeruster te zijn.

Hij is perfect. Sinds ik de deken heb ben ik niet meer om vijf uur wakker. En de temperatuur is prima. Het is echt fijn. Slapen gaat dus echt beter. Wel doe ik iedere avond een slaap meditatie. Misschien is de combinatie voor andere mensen ook een tip. Slaap lekker.
